First Time Central Heating

Purpose of a Central Heating System

A Central Heating System provides heat inside the whole house from one point to several rooms. It distributes the heat to various rooms rather than heating a single room. The heat is usually distributed throughout the building, usually by forced-air through ductwork, by water circulating through pipes, or by steam fed through pipes.

ECO3 Scheme and First Time Central Heating grants

First Time Central Heating Grants (FTCH) are provided by the government as an initiative to help stop fuel poverty and to reduce carbon emissions throughout the UK. The government has a plan to reduce carbon emissions to Net 0% by the year 2050m, which has significant benefits for the environment.
